We mentioned last week that Apple has somehing up its sleeve for Tuesday (February 28th). "Come see some fun, new products from Apple," they say. There's been much speculation.

The current thinking is, the most likely Mac release for Tuesday is an Intel-based Mac mini. AppleInsider claims the Intel-based mini is currently in production. We're guessing an Intel Core Solo will sit at its heart. An integrated iPod dock is expected. Will it be the Tivo killer that has been rumored for a while now? Hard to say.

It seems other, less traditional, "cooler" items may debut, as well. An iPod accessory or two is also expected. Should be an interesting event.
